Family Changes
                                         Group 1: Ages 5 – 7; Group 2: Ages 8 – 11

These groups are intended for children who are experiencing separation from their family or family member by divorce, foster care, illness, deployment, or death. The group is a closed group and meets for 8-weeks.

Children will learn:

• Coping mechanisms

• Different types of separation

• Awareness of feelings associated with separation

• Games and activities related to the topic of separation, with simple techniques to cope with the feelings of loss
